MCC Engineer

We are looking to recruit an MCC Engineer. With headquarters in Kaunas, Lithuania and operational bases both in Europe and beyond, DAT operates a fleet of A320/1 and ATR-42/72 and is now seeking to grow it’s MCC department with the addition of several new MCC Engineer positions. This position reports to the MCC Manager and will be based in Kaunas.

Main Responsibilities

  • Be an integral part of the IOCC and be an interface between operations control and providing technical support to line maintenance and pilots.
  • Oversee and guide defect resolution, troubleshooting, the application of MEL for deferred defects.
  • Coordinate with DAT line maintenance, CAMO, logistics and third party providers/vendors.
  • Ensure work carried out by third party maintenance is done in accordance with Company quality and safety standards.
  • Ensure the maintenance control system is kept up to date.

Qualifications & Experience

You ideally have:

  • Either a B1 or B2 license and holding, or have held, A320/1 or ATR42/72 type rating, ideally both.
  • Extensive trouble-shooting experience on these aircraft types a distinct advantage.
  • Familiarity with OEM documentation.
  • Worked in an MCC at a busy airline with multiple fleet types.
  • Experience with Gannet maintenance management system.
  • Ability to work alone and on own initiative
  • Excellent communication skills in English.
  • Ability to work under pressure.
