Delayed baggage

If your bag is delayed, your arrival airport will take care of the search. If your luggage is not found within 21 days, we consider it lost.

Upon presentation of the original purchase receipt, DAT will reduce the value by 30% of the original purchase price for the first year and 10% for subsequent years. Special baggage

Need to bring your own golf set, surfboard, or skiing equipment on vacation? Golf bags, skiing equipment, and surfboards can be easily booked online during the ticket purchase process. However, other special luggage requires contacting DAT customer service to register and pay after booking your ticket.

All special baggage is sent on a standby basis. This means that regular checked baggage has first priority in the hold. Therefore, in rare cases, there may not be enough space for special baggage.

It is your own responsibility to ensure that special baggage is packed in such a way that it does not break. DAT would therefore like to point out that you are responsible for damage to fragile equipment sent as checked baggage.

If you wish to travel with special baggage, please contact DATs  customer service  for registration and payment once you have booked your ticket.
