In both Denmark and Norway, DAT offers special student tickets with reduced prices on selected domestic routes. Check below eligibility and ticket rules for Norway and Denmark.

Norway

In Norway, student tickets at reduced prices can be used by full-time students aged 18-26. Full-time study means at least 25 hours of study per week for a minimum of 12 weeks annually.

On selected routes, youths aged 12 to 15 years old can book our Social tickets. See the “Social Discounts” section.

In Norway, student tickets are available for the following routes at a price of 875 NOK one way per route:

  • Florø – Oslo / Oslo – Florø
  • Ørland – Oslo / Oslo – Ørland
  • Røros – Oslo / Oslo – Røros
  • Stord – Oslo / Oslo – Stord
  • Evenes – Ørland / Ørland – Evenes
Required Documents
  • For students: A valid student ID with a photo and date of birth.

If you cannot present the correct documentation, boarding will be denied.

Denmark

You can travel on a student/youth ticket from the age of 12 up to and including the age of 17 if you are a full-time student in Denmark (SU-eligible) or enlisted military personnel. See section “Student / Youth tickets.”

Rules for ticket prices:

24 hours grace period:  included. 24 hours right of withdrawal after booking if there is more than 24 hours before departure (Refusionsgebyr DKK 45 per strækning)

Full refund of unused ticket*: not included

Rebooking (upgrade): included (200 DKK + price difference per flight segment)

Rebooking (downgrading): not included

*On Scandinavian routes, an administration fee of DKK 45.00 per flight is charged for processing refunds. If the total amount to be refunded is less than the total administration fee, no refund will be paid.

Student/youth tickets can be rebooked with a fee of DKK 200 + price difference per flight segment. The ticket is non-refundable.

Changes are paid per person, each way. The above applies to all domestic flights in Denmark and Norway.
