On routes where the Norwegian Ministry of Transport purchases flights, certain groups of people are entitled to social discounts, with the exception of travel paid for by the National Health Insurance, etc.<\/p>\n

No social discount is given if the travel is paid for by the National Health Insurance or another governmental organization.<\/span><\/p>\n

    Who can travel with Social Tickets?<\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t
    \n\t\t\t\t
    \n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t

    a. Persons who have reached the age of 67 on the day of departure.<\/p>\n

    b. Blind persons who are 16 years of age or older.<\/p>\n

    c. Persons aged 16 years or older who receive disability pension under Chapter 12 of Act No. 19 of February 28, 1997 on National Insurance Act, or persons who receive similar benefits from another EEA country.<\/p>\n

    d. Pupils over 16 years of age at special schools for the hearing impaired.<\/p>\n

    e. Accompanying spouse\/partner regardless of age, or a person who must accompany the person entitled to the discount under a)-d). It is up to the person entitled to the discount to determine the need for accompaniment.<\/p>\n

    f. Persons aged 12-15 years or older on the day of departure<\/p>\n

    An adult (over 16 years of age) is entitled to bring a child under two years of age free of charge, provided that the child does not occupy its own seat and that the child and the adult are traveling together.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t

    Remember that the following documents may be required from the ticket holder:<\/p>\n

    a. Persons mentioned in point a) must present an official document with photo and date of birth.<\/p>\n

    b. Persons mentioned in sections b and c) must provide proof of eligibility by means of official documentation from the Norwegian National Insurance or the Norwegian Association of the Blind. Persons from other EEA countries must provide equivalent documentation from their home country.<\/p>\n

    c. Persons mentioned in point d) must present a student certificate and a letter from the social welfare office stating that the student is receiving pension according to the Norwegian National Insurance Act. Persons from other EEA countries must present equivalent documentation from their home country.<\/p>\n
